On 12th November 2014, Talk Fracking’s Joe Corre appeared on Russia Today to discuss the future of fracking in the UK saying the government’s plan for a wealth fund in the North is “ridiculous” and the economics do not stand up to scrutiny.

RT reported on the new paper by leading energy engineers from Glasgow University, Professor Paul Younger and Dr Rob Westaway, for the Quarterly Journal of Engineering Geology and Hydrogeology, which says that current regulations governing fracking in Britain are too strict. Joe was on hand to uncover the full picture, exposing Professor Younger’s biased viewpoint as director at energy firm Five-Quarter, who are involved in unconventional gas extraction.
