During the afternoon we went out into the streets of Manchester to ask people what they’d heard about fracking.

freetradehallThere are plans to build fracking wells in 60% of the UK and the government claim our energy future depends on fracking, well many disagree, what do you think?

There’s a National debate happening and we all need to take part. On the panel; Tina Louise, Elizabeth Arnold, Tom Barlow, Helen Rimmer (friends of the earth) and Rachel Thompson (local campaigner).

Fascinating video. Fracking is very divisive and highlights very well the friction between looking after nature and continuing to develop as the human race. And of course the complete lack of trust in politicians, business and scientists.
